«Rainbow» is a social and cultural program for adults with mental or intellectual disabilities. The weekly activities and summer camps strengthen the independence of the participants. It's been managed by the «Chesed-Rachamim» Jewish Center in Minsk for more than ten years.

 

«Rainbow» is one of the biggest success stories of the «Chesed-Rachamim» Jewish Center. The «Rainbow» theater group is now nationally reknown. Their success and fame has even spread beyond national borders, resulting in an invitation to perfrom in Ukraine.

 

When the ajs visited to see the activities and theater performances, we caught the enthusiasm of the participants easily. The managers, Elena and Katia, and all the employees work tirelessly.

 

The ajs is the most important source of funding for 'Rainbow', with most of our contributions flowing into the weekly program and the summer camps. We also contribute to the travel costs of the participants and to the wages of the support staff.
